Silent Operation
Power on and automatically begin recording with one long touch on the side of the glasses, a long vibration indicates the recording has started. Power off by the same button, two short vibrations will indicate the device is powered off. If device doesn’t have a memory card, it will vibrate 20 times and power off. If memory card is full, the device will vibrate 5 times and power off. When the memory card becomes full it will shut down itself and when the battery is low the device will vibrate 3 times.

These LawMate Covert Glasses are extremely user friendly. Get the device operational by plugging in the mini USB into the glasses USB Port and plug the other end into a power source, once green LED light has turned off, the device will be fully charged. While your glasses are charging, format the memory card on a computer, set the date and time stamp by creating a text file and saving it into the root directory. After fully charged, insert the micro memory card included into the slot with your hand, upon removal please use tweezers provided to avoid corruption. Power on and automatically begin recording with one long touch and same to turn off. Download data by connecting the glasses with the mini USB cord to your computer.

$350 dollar Recording Glasses Not Durable
These glasses are not durable.
Let me make this clear, the glasses are reliable, but only if you treat the glasses like some kind of fine china. Because even one drop or fidget the wrong way, the glasses will “break”—not from outside, but from within. You‘ll know immediately because of the strange artifacting.
This has happened 3 times over 5 copies of these glasses. The first time I dropped it. Nothing happened, but then after extensive use, it began to artifact. I used the glasses daily. They were superb until they broke from within. Not to mention, they do crack, if and when dropped on a hard surface. Because these glasses are pretty built as a sturdy solid frame (not the same as durable)—which renders the glasses inflexible, so upon dropping on a hard surface for example, it WILL CRACK, whether externally or internally--all the same the damage has been done. So if nothing appears on the recording itself. The artifacting WILL APPEAR over the coming weeks. I guarantee it.
I’ve sent a letter to the development team to address this issue. The glasses are made in Taiwan! So for $350 dollars (I paid express shipping for each), I expected top notch quality all round. Like all Chinese products, (Taiwanese are the same race as Chinese), I subpar quality glasses. It is my firm belief that spy glasses will only ever improve if they’re designed and constructed in first world countries. Europeans possess the expertise and know how, and quality control can be monitored throughout the process.
There are no good enough spy glasses in the market today. I’ve tried them all. They all break. Just use your smartphone. (*The reason iPhones work consistently is because they’re made to be durable and reliable—the advanced components are manufactured in Germany! Then finally assembled in China. There is a HUGE difference between Chinese-made products and European-made products. The ORIGINAL PEOPLE who make them understand how these electronics work to the minute level. That is key.)
Initially, customer support was very good to me in repairing the glasses, but because of the CONSISTENT BREAKAGE of the glasses, they’ve come to realize that I am “too expensive” a customer to maintain, and therefore refuse to repair all 4 of my broken spy glasses. (*Note the company that sells the glasses does not manufacture it themselves, but nonetheless I was promised my issue would be taken care of. I’ve been waiting months!!!!!!!!!!)
If you intend to use these glasses every so often - sometimes, they may work out for you, but you have to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to drop these glasses or bend them in any way. "Dropping" them on the table after wearing them from a few inches by accident will be enough to damage these internally I am afraid...
That said, until these glasses are made to be HIGHLY DURABLE, DO NOT buy these glasses.
