Thermal & Infrared Night Vision Binoculars with 5K Video Recorder

The VSTM5KRD gives investigators, security teams, and property owners a single handheld unit for locating, identifying, and documenting activity after dark. A thermal sensor picks out heat sources through darkness, light fog, and vegetation; an infrared illuminator array lights up subjects at distance; and an integrated recorder saves what the 4-inch screen shows as 5K video or 60-megapixel stills on a microSD card.

Three Ways to See

By day the unit functions as 10x magnification binoculars with adjustable focus. At night the infrared system reaches out to roughly 600 meters (about 2,000 feet). When you need to find a person or animal rather than simply view a scene, thermal mode renders warm bodies against a cooler background at up to 150 meters (500 feet), with a choice of four color modes: standard, inverted, green, and monochrome. Switching between modes takes a button press, so you can locate a subject thermally and then confirm identity under IR without lowering the binoculars.

Evidence-Grade Recording

Where the typical night vision DVR records at 1080p, this unit captures 5K video and 60MP photos. That extra resolution is what makes it possible to enlarge a face, a license plate, or a piece of equipment after the fact and still have usable detail. Every clip and photo carries a time and date overlay. A 32GB microSD card is included and the slot accepts cards up to 128GB; files transfer over the USB-C port, which also charges the internal lithium-ion battery.
